Commonwealth Games 2022 Women Cricket: India Wins The High Pressure Match, Now Medal Confirmed

Commonwealth games 2022 women's cricket T20 semi-final was played between India and England. India won the toss and decided to bat first. India's opener Smriti Mandhana with 8 fours, 3 sixes and a 190.63 strike rate did a tremendous job and gave India a good start. 

Jemimah Rodrigues also played a good part in it and with 7 fours she reached 44 runs mark. Her strike rate was 141.94. The rest of the players including Shafali Verma 15(17), Harmanpreet Kaur 20(20) and Deepti Sharma 22 (20) performance made India to score 164 runs.

England team played really well. England captain Nat Sciver scores highest 41 runs in his team. Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt gave England good start and Amy jones also played good but lose to reach the score.

Indian bowling side failed to take wickets but run outs and good fielding manage them to win the semifinal match. India won the match by four runs. Only Deepti Sharma and Sneh rana took wickets.

After this win Indian team is all ready to play the finals. India assured the silver medal but the target is gold for sure.
